Get started with ROAS optimization

The target return on ad spend (tROAS) optimizer is an automated bidding system that you can have enabled on daily rewards offers. It uses user engagement data and your ROAS goals to dynamically generate bids. For more information, refer to Introduction to ROAS optimization.

Prerequisites

Before you get started with the tROAS optimizer, ensure the following:

Set up the tROAS optimizer

To set up tROAS optimizer in a daily rewards offer, follow these steps:

  1. Contact your account manager to enable the feature.
  2. Review with your account manager the target ROAS, ROAS revenue source (IAP, IAA, or both), and daily budget in the desired daily rewards offers.
  3. Confirm that your revenue reporting aligns with your internal numbers before launch. If your internal or MMP reported revenue doesn’t match the ones in the Offerwall dashboard, contact your account manager.

Caution: Do not change the click-to-conversion time (CTCT) and attribution window values after the tROAS optimizer has been enabled. Otherwise, the system re-enters a learning stage to gather later stage conversion data.

You can revert back to manual bidding at any time. Your previously configured manual bids will be saved and ready for use. To revert back to manual bidding, contact your account manager.
