Offerwall Currency Sales

Offerwall currency sales are a proven way to increase engagement, retention, and overall revenue for app developers. You can set an offerwall promotion from 1.01x to 10x the standard rewards offered to your users, for a limited time period.

Benefits of running currency sales

By offering increased value rewards, you give your users additional incentives to engage with the offerwall and complete offerwall tasks. This in turn improves user engagement and offer completion rates, leading to higher ad revenue and growth in IAP (since users get a taste of in-game boosts).

In addition, when you let your account manager know that you're planning a currency sale, this information will be shared with offerwall advertisers to encourage them to bid higher for your traffic.

Types of Currency Sales

The three types of currency sales each have their own advantages.

Type of Currency Sale	Key Benefits
Single custom currency sale	Set up a custom currency sale to coincide with a new game mode, character, or game anniversary to increase engagement.
Predefined currency sales with preset feature	Plan ahead by opting into currency sales for the year, so you can set it and forget it.
Personalized currency sale with Message to Earn	Recommended for highest performance Hypertarget segments of users with personalized sales. Message to Earn offers various ways to achieve business goals including boosting country-specific activity, driving first-timers to OW, and re-engaging past OW users.

Setting up single custom currency sale

1. On the left sidebar click "Currency Sale", then navigate to the top right corner and click the blue button "Create Currency Sale"
2. Proceed to fill out the form.
   • Under Basic
     • Deployment: This is set on by default. Please note that the sale will not go live until the start date.
     • Currency Sale Name: Add name.
     • Description: Optional
     • Platform: Preselected based on the OS of the app.
   • Under Virtual Currency
     • Select Currency: Please select a currency that you have set up.
     • Sale Multiplier: Select a multiplier to apply to the sale.
     • Under Targeting: Select targeting for currency sale.
   • Under Schedule: Select start/end time.
     • Please note the time will be set in the time zone that is configured for the app.
3. Hit "Submit"
4. The newly added sale can be found in "Currency Sale" at the bottom of the screen under "All Except ended". Once the sale has ended, the line item will move to the "Ended" tab.

Setting up predefined currency sale with preset feature

1. On the left sidebar click "Currency Sale", then navigate to the top right corner and click the gray button "Create from Preset"
2. Under the Preset Currency Sale Schedule list, select the predefined currency sale and adjust the multiplier.
   • Please note preset times can not be changed. We recommend you create a single currency sale if you need to customize start/end times.
3. Hit "Submit"
4. The newly added sale can be found in "Currency Sale" at the bottom of the screen under "All Except ended". Once the sale has ended, the line item will move to the "Ended" tab.

Setting up personalized currency sale with Message to Earn

Please note: This type of currency sale requires Message to Earn content cards. Please create these before setting up the currency sale.

1. Please set up content cards with Message to Earn, see more information on these customizable in-app messages here.
2. Once these Message to Earn content cards have been created, please follow steps 1-3 of "Setting up single custom currency sale"
3. Under Targeting
   • Select "Content"
   • Then please select the Message to Earn content card that has been created to target the demographic for this currency sale.
4. Schedule: Select start/end time
   • Please note the time will be set in the time zone that is configured for the app.
5. Hit "Submit"
6. The newly added sale can be found in the dashboard > Currency Sale tab under "All Except Ended". Once the sale has ended, the line item will move to the "Ended" tab.
